Our apprenticeship starts with an initial intensive course based at our King’s Lynn Academy. This ensures that the most basic skills are thoroughly grasped as rapidly as possible.

Within a matter of days you will be cutting customers’ hair in the Academy, and within weeks you will be getting that opportunity within a shop. Within a few months your skills and confidence will have grown so that you will be able to look after customers increasingly independently and charging full price for haircuts.

Your apprenticeship will end with your final assessment and the awarding of your qualification and you will feel confident to progress with your career, hopefully still with Gould Barbers.

We take on new apprentices on a monthly basis. Applicants should have a minimum of grade 4 (C) in both Maths and English.
