​"I hate being a barber"!!! That was me at 18, doing 40 identical buzzcuts a day in the Brazilian Air Force. I swore I’d never touch clippers again! ​Fast forward through a career in customer service and living in 5 different countries, and here I am at Gould Barbers Newmarket Road. I’ve realized it wasn’t the hair I hated—it was the lack of connection. Now, I love turning "out-of-control" hair into a "ready-to-party new man" look and making friends along the way. ​The team here is incredibly friendly, and both management and HR are attentive and efficient. Thankfully, I’m only 56, so I’m planning to stay with Gould for at least another 30 or 40 years! Hope you're ready for me.
